About the product
The UK Hotels database contains information about over 4,000 hotels in England,
Wales, Scotland and Ireland. It was created to be the central data source for all
systems, which require that sort of information. For example, it is used by tour
operators, recruiting agencies and a few large companies in East Europe. All of
them use our database as part of their own, bigger projects.
Currently the database holds information about over 4,000 hotels in 189 districts,
86 counties and over 2,500 pubs of United Kingdom.
The database is available in 4 forms, updated 2 times per week:
- MySQL script
- Microsoft Access database
- Microsoft Excel worksheet
- XML
First option is for web server or corporate systems administrators, who need to
keep that data always fresh and precise. It is for corporate-wide applications,
distributed systems and alike.
Microsoft Access database may be needed for desktop developers and business, who
needs this information to add hotel database functionality to their desktop applications
and corporate systems.
Excel workbook is ideal for small business and individuals and XML for interoperability
with other platforms, not covered by previous methods.
