Scylla is a freeware spam complaining tool. For example, you
received spam message, and you want it to stop. The only thing you
need to do, is copy message's source (you can do it in most e-mail
clients) into Scylla's window, and click 3 buttons. First button is
a "paste" button. Second - "Investigate". And a third - is
"Complain".
Scylla will point on real message originator, will
find his ISP (Internet Service Provider), will forward message to
some organizations, who fight with spam (see below), and will send a
well-sounding complaint to everyone, who is responsible to shut the
spammer down. Our research and experience shows, that Scylla is
highly effective in cleaning your mailbox, if your mail server is
using DNS services of SpamCop, ORDB and similar organizations. The
business of Scylla - to submit unknown spam to these organizations,
and then it is up to your server to not allow these people to send
you anything again.
Here is a list of functions that you will find in Scylla:
-
Find spammers IP and ISP
-
Submit complaint to spammer's ISP
-
Submit complaint to
US Federal Trade Commission
-
Submit spammer's IP to
Open Relay DataBase
and anyone you want, for example, to SpamCop.
-
Work beyond HTTP proxy server, making complaining
possible even if you are beyond the corporate network or firewall
-
Exclude user-defined headers from complaint,
keeping your private data for your eyes only
-
Submit spammer's "creativity" as attached text file
or inside the complaint
-
One-click complaining!
Most of these features exists in Scylla only. Scylla
gives you the same result as you would get by hands, working on
complaint 10 minutes or more. Scylla will do everything in a second.

This setup program was dedicated for internet downloading, and to
make easier for you to download, we removed all required system
files that may already be on your computer. Make sure you have this runtime installed on your computer:
Important note about source code: it uses one 3rd
party component for splitting. You can find it in References folder.
You can easily remove it or substitute with another splitter, for
example free and open source one. If you have a license for a
GreenTree ActiveToolbox, then you won't bother at all. |
System requirements:
Scylla is compatible with all 32-bit versions of
Windows. |

Software like Scylla must
be free by its nature. So it is. However, you can donate, to
support further development and functionality. This is absolutely
optional, do this if you really want it.
